Paul: I am crazy! Me: Heck yes you are! You are related to me!

Today was ok. I would say It was a banana day ( remind me to put my Description of Days: Fruit Ed on here some time). I am totally exhausted cuz I was helping my dad at this house all day. Yesterday was good. I got all my music and homework done and then went to help my dad and then my parents took me to Texas roadhouse (yummmm...) and Old Navy cuz I need some clothes. I bought 3 shirts. Shopping is always a little bit of a strain because its so hard to find completely modest clothes. If its long enough its too tight. If it has a high enough collar, it is too short etc. These ones, it seemed were the ONLY ones in the entire store that seemed to fit the bill.

Then we went to Down East Basics for jeans and couldn't find any that would work. Lame. Anyway I am currently reading 3 books at the same time. I just finished The amulet of Samarkand
The Amulet of Samarkand (The Bartimaeus Triology, Book One)
I love this book. SOOOO funny. Bartimaeus is hilarious. I just started the next book: The Golums Eye
Just FYI: I have read these before. This is a reread spree.
I am also in the process of reading Persuasion which I am half-way through. I needed a bit of light reading :)
For English I am reading To kill a Mockingbird witch I have also already read.

This is my latest project in my room. I heard about this girl that had put pictures of her goals up in her room so she could look at them everyday so I tried it. My dreams include lots of thing; from being married in the temple to going to England to someday having a really cool car :)

Arizona Sunsets

This is why I love arizona. because its the desert there is tons of dust in the air all you need are some clouds and you have glorious sunsets/ sunrises. I knew it would be good tonight because of the rain from yesterday and earlier today. I have many a friend that hates arizona because of the endless brown but I love it, even for just this :) I just wish I had a better camera to capture the moment. Please excuse the light posts.I do live in the city you know :)

Wind+Rain+Cloudiness= Happiness

Today is windy, overcast and rainy and I feel like dancing. I love it when it is overcast. It feels like when you wake up in the morning and pull your sheet over your face but the light is still on your face its just muted. When its overcast it puts me in a weird a mood. Half of me feels like running around, leaping  and frolicking, bursting with happiness because its a break from the sun. The other half of me wants to go back to sleep and pull the covers back over my head. Its like my moods form an oxymoron. And RAIN! oh I love rain and there have only been 2 or 3 times sense we moved here that I have NOT gone and danced in the rain. The best rain storms are the monsoons that come in the summer. They are the BEST. It will be a120 degrees outside and we all are melting then...Boom! Thunder and lighting and buckets and buckets and buckets of rain. Now its 120 degrees and 100 % humidity and that's when its fun to dance in the rain. Rain is my absolute favorite. I love it. Seriously though. Its the best. Don't get me wrong, I love living in a state that even in the winter it is ALWAYS sunny but a break is just what I need sometimes.

 This is Kayleigh and I in our AMAZING Batman shirts that we got in honor of her bday this weekend! It was the best. First we went to Walmart and got the shirts and messed around then we went to Panda Express and Jamba Juice ( The next t-shirts we are buying: Jamba Jucie) Then we came home and watched How to Train Your Dragon and ate Jelly Bellies and popcorn. Then we Frolicked and swung on the swings at the park! BEST NIGHT EVER!

Did I Look like I was on Drugs? Probably

Today was Tuesday therefore Zumba in club fitness. I love Zumba. Here is my status in that class:  my friend and I are the little white, gangley little teenagers that started 3 weeks ago. The rest of the class are woman who have done this for 3 years, are middle-aged and are Latino, therefore they can more their bodies in ways I cannot even begin to try to do. But I do so I just look like an idiot. I love it :) They also have really fun dancing songs like Waka Waka (This time For Africa) by Shakira my new favorite song

Our ward has an adult fireside coming up and our ward has been focusing a lot on missionary work latly, so the bishop desided to give every house in our ward boundries a flyer about it. So our family got assigned to hand out the flyers a cirtin number of houses in our neighbourhood. Tonight I grabbed some tape, the flyers and waltzed out the door....literally. As I got going I got more and more comfortable sticking them on peoples doors I turned up my iPod and danced down the street, rocking our to my waka waka. Did I look like I was on Drugs? Probably. didI make a bunch of people stop and laugh at this crazy danceing girl with the collered uniform and curly hair? probably. Did I care? Heckno Techno! did I have fun? Heck yes!  I am doing all those moves we did today in Zumba and loveing it.

Stop and smell the flowers. Dance instead of walk. Sing instead of talk. Life is too short to not to.

Confessions of a Full Force Teenage Girl

I think, that because of a random train of events, this was the first day in months that I have felt pretty.

 I have a relatively ok uniform but it is  really hard to find cute pants because they have to be plain navy or khaki. Then, for the past 2 months have been cold for AZ and I wore long pants every single day. Now, I have to clarify, that no one else in the entire universe accept me thought they were high waters, but, like I said, they felt like high waters. So even if my hair looked ok....i was still wearing high waters in my mind.

Well, on Saturday for the dance, I looked and felt good. Then at the beginning of the dance, my friend said she had been talking to one of her guy friends and he had said he thought I was really pretty. I cannot express how much that made me feel good especially after not feeling pretty for so long. Than I danced 4 dances and the evening ended great.

So today I looked in the morning and the high for the day was 81 degrees WHOO HOO! Like I said, out come the shorts and no more high waters! Then to make this day even better it was Valentines day! So even though I didn't even get a cupid gram, I had sugar coming out of my ears! I was happy, really happy and felt pretty, even though I probably looked the same as ever, on this day!

rambles

I Love Valentine's day! Don't ask me why because I have no idea. I have been making Valentines all day and I am totally ecstatic.

This past week was really good. Aunt Melanie was in town and we watched Bleak House and Jane Eyre. I loved both. Bleak House Is probably my favorite Dickens movies so far. But I especially loved Jane Eyre. I love that story and I think I am a lot like her in some ways. also as an added bonus, this version of Mr Rochester was a stud.



It was so much fun to have Aunt Melanie here! I love her and her girls to pieces!

I got my passport papers in this week and i am starting to get really excited to go to Mexico and Guatemala! Only like a month more! I CANNOT wait!

The weather has been SO nice latley and tomarow its supposed to be 80 degrees :) Out come the shorts!

Yesterday Kymber and I finally had our cookie dough party because it was her 1/2 birthday and she got her braces off on Monday. We stuffed ourselves with cookie dough and then we went to the stake dance. I have kinda lost my excitement for stake dances. I mean you have 2 or 3 bad ones in a row and they start to loose there appeal. Anyway after I had curled my hair ( I looked good :) haha) I went over to Kymbers house to finish my makeup and such then we went... well kinda. We couldn't find the stake center so when we finally did get to the dance there was only and hour left. This stake dance was SO much fun. Like I said I have not had fun at a stake dance for a while but this one was really fun.

Audrey Hepburn Lover

My good friend named Lauren,(who lives in Singapore, we met when I was in 4th grade when I went to visit my grandparents when they were serving a mission there and we traded e-mail address and have stayed in touch all these years :) Anyway she e-mailed me this quote from Audrey Hepburn.
